Our Mission

Our mission is to establish a professional learning center where students can reach their educational goals in a supportive and personalized setting, ensuring each student’s unique needs and potential are recognized and fulfilled.

Our Community

South Dade Academy (SDA) in Florida City, Florida, is a private school for 14 to 22-year-olds. Students can get a high school diploma while pursuing postsecondary education and vocational training. Our curriculum meets Florida Department of Education requirements, and our low teacher-to-student ratio helps us address our students’ needs. Our main goal is to ensure each student receives a personalized education. South Dade Academy Inc. teaches students self-respect and optimism. Our program affiliations include four-year institutions, community colleges, vocational training, and the US Military.

South Dade Academy is a welcoming community that, like you, is committed to overcoming challenges and reaching its full potential. If you’re not meeting state or district proficiency levels, have been retained, struggle with course completion, face absenteeism, or risk not graduating, we’re here to support you.
